H Street, NE Properties

In May 2013 Carderock acquired 916-918 H Street NE.  After demolishing the interior of the building, obtaining administrative approval to increase the FAR of the building to 2.0 and completing drawings for a multi-tenanted space the asset was sold for a significant gain after a five plus year hold.

Carderock acquired 1301 H Street, NE in the Arts and Entertainment District of the H Street corridor in January 2014.  After successfully litigating the validity of an easement with adjoining property owner that unduly affected the development of the property, Carderock sold the property to a condominium developer for a substantial profit in October 2015.
